A preview of GERTRUDE by Bianca Stone, the first title in the drDOCTOR 2 chapbook series.

In 2–1: GERTRUDE, Bianca Stone wakes the line between sight and sound, the poetic, printed line and the line drawn, and the line between the living and the dead.

GERTRUDE comes in two parts, in equal parts comic and cosmic: the first, a poetry comic transcribed from a poem by Ruth Stone found on a cassette tape recording and turned into illustrated verse; the second, a series of couplets by Bianca Stone in which the spirit of the word and the spirit world become one.
